Hero Direct is Hero’s open marketplace: free, transparent and for serious interim. Six agreements keep it good for everyone.
Transparency first
Making your rate visible is encouraged: assignments with a visible rate get the ‘rate visible’ label and demonstrably work better. Honesty pays off.
You always see who posts
Every assignment carries a badge: End client, Intermediary or Via Hero. So you know upfront who you’re dealing with.
Serious interim only
Assignments with a day-rate character: senior work, real durations. No micro-gigs, no odd jobs. What doesn’t fit is removed.
Compliance-aware
As a professional you choose your own rate, client and way of working. Hero Direct is a notice board, not an employer. Want certainty? Run the match via Hero, including the Dutch DBA check.
Intermediaries welcome
Agencies and brokers are welcome to post here, openly and recognisable by their badge. The marketplace is open; the rules apply to everyone.

The real conversion sits behind the match.
Matching is free and stays free. Hero only earns something when you choose convenience afterwards: Handled by Hero for contract, payment and compliance check (Silver, €79 per contract per month), benefits for professionals, or our matchmaking team if you’d rather not search yourself. No small print: everything we say is 100% true.
