Finance Transformation Lead — shared services build-out.

A US-based professional services firm is consolidating the finance operations of four recently acquired businesses into a single shared-services organisation in New York. As Finance Transformation Lead you design the target operating model, run the transition programme and stand up the new order-to-cash and procure-to-pay teams.

The current state is heterogeneous: four ERPs, three payroll providers and a patchwork of local processes. The board has approved a pragmatic two-step approach — first standardise processes on the existing systems, then migrate to NetSuite in 2027. You sequence the migrations, manage the workstream leads and own the benefits case of approximately $6M in annual run-rate savings.

We are looking for someone who has personally built or significantly restructured a shared-services centre, understands US GAAP close processes and can operate at both steering-committee and process-detail level. The role is based on-site in Midtown Manhattan, four to five days per week during the first phase. US work authorisation is required; the engagement runs through the NetSuite vendor selection.
